I wanted to showcase my openpilot drives with the real @comma_ai four HUD. So, I'm building openpath.

openpath 1.0 beta now ships a finished clips finder with dark mode and quick tags. Every clip with real comma four/3X HUD in one list, open or show in Folder from there. No more folder Roulette.

Shipped comma Connect in the app. Connect auto-uploads a low-res preview. openpath can pull the full HD off my device over Wi-Fi now. Still smoothing that pull. Added dark mode and a line brightness slider too.

I can customize what's shown, set start/end, rename clips, preview-render before using disk space. Just a local beta for now, I could open source this later.
Definitely want to share openpath. Right now I'm refining it so it feels more polished and intuitive, i want the first public version rock solid.

It burns the HUD you saw on the comma device while driving back onto that drive's camera footage as a shareable MP4, and lets you customize what shows up.
